- Is everything you carry listed in your catalog?
In a word - NO. In addition to the books listed in our catalog, we also carry general reference works such as The Handy Book for Genealogists, some lineage society references, newly arrived books, one-of-a kind books, and a selection of resources for searching for ancestors in other parts of the world. If you don't see what you want, ask! We may have it already.
- How can I order books?

You can browse by subject and select items as you go. When you're done, your order can be submitted by e-mail and you can print the order confirmation for your records. If you prefer, you can fax or phone payment information.
- Fax
You can fax your credit card order to (651) 488-2653, 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. Central Time. Include your credit card number, the full name in which it is issued, and its expiration date.
- Phone
Call Mary at (651) 488-4416 to order with your VISA, Discover or MasterCard between 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. central time. If you get our answering machine, leave your name and phone number, with the best time to return your call.
- Snail-mail
Print our order form. Write a list of the books you want. If you're within the U.S., add shipping charges of $5.00 for the first book plus $.50 for each additional. Minnesota residents must add 6.5% sales tax. Mail the list and your check to Park Genealogical Books, Dept. WWW, P O Box 130968, Roseville, MN 55113-0968.
Do you take credit cards?
Yes - VISA,Discover and MasterCard. You'll need to provide the card number and expiration date.
How long does it take to get an order?
Orders are usually packed for shipment on Mondays, and taken to the Post Office on Tuesdays for shipping. Let us know if your order needs special handling or quicker response.
Where can I see these books before I buy?
The question most frequently asked when we take our bookstore on the road is "Where is your store?" Now we can say, "1935 County Road B2 W Ste 71, Roseville, Minnesota." We are just a short distance from Rosedale.
For our Twin Cities customers, I am usually there Mondays, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., or you can call for a special appointment.
Why are your store hours so limited?
We're trying to make other resources available. Besides publishing the Minnesota Genealogical Journal, we take the book store to genealogy events, travel throughout the state to seek out additional resources, work with other authors on future publications, transcribe records for publication (e.g., Calvary Cemetery in St. Paul), and volunteer at the Genealogy Help Desk at the Minnesota Historical Society.
Do you have the (enter family name here) genealogy?
While we carry many Minnesota-related local histories which include biographical information, we do not handle compiled family histories.
