Ramsey County Minnesota Research Swap

The purpose of this page is to enable equal 'swaps' of research for members of the MNRAMSEY mailing list, particularly those who need research done for Ramsey County ancestors. These are not free lookups: if you ask one of these people to do some research for you, you should expect to pay some fee, either in research time, or whatever monetary fee you agree on.

There are two tables for researchers:

Negotiations should be conducted in private communication, and not on the MNRAMSEY mailing list.

To add/modify your offer, send Mary Bakeman an e-mail, specifying what research you are willing to do and where. You can be as specific as you want: if you are only willing to do work in one repository, say that. If you are willing to go to cemeteries, vital records offices, etc., say that.

A listing here does not imply endorsement of any researcher - take the same care you normally would take in hiring assistance!
